Sarah Palin Speaks With Forked Tongue

Not to call her a snake in the grass, but really, Sarah Palin is so disingenuous sometimes. She has just posted the video below on her Facebook page. I would feel better about the statement if she took just a little responsibility for her incendiary " relock and reload"  gun toting words and images and put a little less emphasis on herself as innocent victim of an evil liberal press.  Here's an excerpt that shows what I mean.
As I said while campaigning for others last March in Arizona during a very heated primary race, “We know violence isn’t the answer. When we ‘take up our arms’, we’re talking about our vote.” Yes, our debates are full of passion, but we settle our political differences respectfully at the ballot box – as we did just two months ago, and as our Republic enables us to do again in the next election, and the next. That’s who we are as Americans and how we were meant to be. Public discourse and debate isn’t a sign of crisis, but of our enduring strength. It is part of why America is exceptional.

For myself, I think the shooting in Arizona underlines the need for all of us ( including Sarah Palin) to chill out and to stop making excuses.  What ever happened to responsibility and accounability ?

Here's the video version of the entire statement or you can read it on Facebook.

Words are actions too and they have power.  Let's have fewer protestations of innocence and more soul searching

Puhleese... We know the Wasilla Barbie's command of the English language is lacking, but she (or her speechwriter) understood *perfectly* the meaning of "take up arms" and the message those words were sending. If she'd meant "go to the ballot box", she'd would've said that instead.

I totally agree--this video makes it clear that she just does not get it. She is still manipulating and making excuses. In other words, it is all about her-- too bad because she missed a real opportunity to be taken seriously as a person and a leader-- but I am not surprised
