Remember the tea parties-- those well orchestrated " grass roots" gatherings orchestrated by lobbyists and attended by right wing riff raff? Remember those oh so sincere, all American teabaggers carrying signs that could make you laugh or cry-- or both?

Obama was right on when he announced the push to increase educational opportunities for American children. Tea baggers are obviously the children that got left behind long before nearly-illiterate Dubya got to the White House. ;D
Pictures speak louder than words sometimes. Some of these made me sick just thinking that there are such ignorant people in this world. The one with the lion was the worse in my opinion. I'm with JamaGenie on education. And lets just hope none of these people are teachers.
I find the Sinclair Lewis quote really scary when I look at these people. They are sad and scary at the same time.
What annoys me almost more than all this is that they've taken a great thing (tea) and tried to ruin it with their nutty politics!
Some of those signs (and the T-shirt) actually made my stomach churn. Those folks have no idea they are actually just demonstrating their ignorance, and not much else.
OMG...I am quite terrified - these people have the right to vote?! Thank you for enlightening me. Socialised medicine...all private health-care providers peddle propaganda. I am an NHS lover...it's saved my skin many a time.

Hello Jo and Alex-- yes the signs are truly scary aren't they? I meant it when I said I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
I am always astounded at the mixing together of completely un related movements and people as in " Hitler and Karl Marx" and Karl is spelled with a C not a K-- how do you spell " uninformed"?
